Sainthood Reps

Introducing: Sainthood Reps

They may still be a little rough, but Sainthood Reps has a lot of potential. I caught onto them when I heard they were touring with mewithoutYou, and then doing another tour right after with La Dispute. Their debut album, Monoculture definitely has a strong Daisy (Brand New) vibe, but that shouldn’t come as a surprise seeing as how guitarist Derrick Sherman also plays guitar for Brand New. I was able to catch Sainthood Reps when they played at Chain Reaction on the Wildlife tour and was pretty impressed with what I heard. I wasn’t the only one though, there was a notable difference in the audience’s attitude after only a few songs. I even had a friend who was standing around outside and was lured in by the sounds he heard. I feel like Sainthood Reps is off to a pretty great start, and I’m looking forward to what they’re going to do in the future. Down below are two of my favorites, “Hunter” and “DINGUS,” do yourself a favor and check it out.  No seriously.
